About GeneMatters

GeneMatters was founded to ensure that everyone has access to expert genetic counseling when they need it. Genetic counseling is a critical part of healthcare that helps people understand how certain medical conditions are inherited in a family. Our board-certified and licensed genetic counselors help people interpret their genetic family history, decide if genetic testing is right for them, choose the right test, and understand the results so they can make informed decisions about their medical care.

Our scalable telehealth platform and patient engagement tools are uniquely positioned to meet the growing need for genetic counseling services created by the exponential growth in genetic testing and current shortage of genetic counselors. We partner with hospitals, clinics, academic centers and genetic testing labs to provide a highly cost-effective, efficient and comprehensive genetic counseling experience.

Our team members are passionate about growth, innovation and collaboration. We are constantly striving to improve and better ourselves. GeneMatters is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better we can serve our partners, patients and our communities.
